Annual Cabaret Concert, Nov. 5 Tickets go on sale that evening for Feb. 3 performance of Grammy winning vocal ensemble The New York Voices
The middle school gym will be transformed into an intimate performing venue for the evening where the audience can purchase their favorite dessert or snack as they listen. The High School and Middle School Jazz Ensembles, the High School Select Chorus, and a Middle School Woodwind Ensemble will be just a few of the acts featured. Tickets are $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students and senior citizens. Doors will open for general seating at 6:30 p.m. Sorry no reserved seating.

on sale starting the night of the Cabaret Concert. New York Voices to Perform Feb. 3 The Voorheesville Friends of Music is excited to be sponsoring a concert featuring the Grammy winning vocal ensemble The New York Voices on Friday, Feb. 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Lydia C. Tobler Performing Arts Center. The New York Voices is an international performing group that has performed in major venues such as Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and Lincoln Center. "This concert is a new initiative by the Friends of Music to bring major performing artists to Voorheesville to perform in our beautiful performance facility," said Chris Jantson, Voorheesville Central Schools music coordinator. The initiative is being funded by an endowment in memory of Mrs. Lydia Tobler, who taught music for over 30 years in Voorheesville and served as the district’s fine arts coordinator. In addition to the evening concert, the group will be conducting workshops during the day with Voorheesville music students. Tickets will be on sale starting the night of the Cabaret Concert.
